Entry 01 - Meeting Elena

I met Vokun Tattoo back in 2017, and I literally wouldn't leave her alone. Even with the language barrier, her Italian English not quite understanding my warped Yorkshire accent, we ended up together.

Around this time I'd decided to take a break from building cars.
My hands had started to seize up after years of accidents in the garage, burning the candle at both ends, and in the middle.
The tattoo studio where I'd met Elena was struggling with the running of the place and management troubles, so I stepped in and took the role of manager.
Over the months working there, I struggled to decide the direction of my future. I still knew I wanted to work with my hands, just not sure how. My crisis was solved with endless help from my other half. She made me look inward and seek out where I actually found enjoyment.
A lightbulb moment occurred, and once again Ant popped back into my mind. I loved what he did, making clothing for his brand, for bands, collaborations, events. The photography of the products and models. The website. The planning of collections. And, not least, the merch stands. I loved that hustle.
Anthony also got me in front of the camera repping SABBC, as I was starting to get heavily tattooed, which gave me the courage to start modelling too. Another side quest.
